WASM offers the early years of its courses at the Bentley (Perth) Campus of Curtin for students who initially wish to stay in Perth. However, most WASM students study their professional (final) years in the vibrant mining centre of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, to obtain the technical and personal skills that are the hallmark of a WASM graduate.

Students are encouraged to commence their studies on the Kalgoorlie Campus to gain early exposure to the mining industry and to take advantage of other features offered at this friendly regional campus.

Students in Kalgoorlie enjoy great camaraderie, relatively small class sizes and a caring academic community, all of which enhance academic achievement, while students in Perth can take advantage of being located on one of Western Australia's most vibrant university campuses.
